Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thehiringcompanies.com and the HiringCompanies account sign-in service at id.thehiringcompanies.com, operated by Sidekick Software Inc. (“Hiring Companies”, “we”, “us”), a Delaware corporation. By using these services you agree to these Terms.
Use of our products is governed by each product's own terms, linked in section 2. Where a product's terms conflict with these Terms for use of that product, the product's terms control.
1. The HiringCompanies account
One HiringCompanies account signs you in across our products. You must provide accurate information, keep control of the sign-in methods linked to your account, and not share, sell, or transfer the account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the services: no attempts to break or probe their security, no automated scraping of other people's information, no impersonation, and no use of the services to violate the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
4. Intellectual property
The services, including their design, text, and software, are owned by Sidekick Software Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets.
5. Disclaimers
The corporate site and sign-in service are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick Software Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the corporate site or the sign-in service, and our aggregate liability for such use is limited to one hundred US dollars. Liability arising from your use of a product is governed by that product's terms.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post changes here and update the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
